Aim and purpose

At the University of Tsukuba, the “Code of Conduct for Researchers to Promote Fair Research at the University of Tsukuba (Established on January 18, 2007)” has been established as a guideline to promote fair research activities. Researchers are required to maintain “the dignity of knowledge” based on this code of conduct and strive to maintain and improve the quality of their research. Deep understanding and practice of these concepts are important responsibilities for researchers and also represent their responsibility to society.

In the Graduate School of Comprehensive Human Sciences, we have organized this FD (Faculty Development) program to reaffirm the importance of research integrity and to promote and maintain higher quality research. We expect not only faculty and related parties within the university but also active participation from students of the graduate school.
